Chili Times is published by North Coast AI LLC. It lists sanctioned chili cook-offs from the two sanctioning bodies' own listings, the International Chili Society (ICS) and the Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI), with each event's fees, categories and visitor details quoted and linked. We aren't affiliated with either body or with any cook-off.

Method

Our checker re-fetches every ICS cook-off details page, the ICS upcoming list, CASI's 90-day event list and both rule books, and confirms each quote still appears word for word (ignoring only spacing, letter case and quote-mark style). A cook-off is published only if all of its quotes are still found and its date hasn't passed; events whose quotes disappear or whose date has passed drop off at the next build. We do not separately check for cancellation notices, so confirm with the organizer before you travel. We leave out organizers' names, phone numbers and email addresses, even where a listing prints them, and link to the listing instead. Sections labeled "Our take" are our summaries of the quotes on the same page; tables, weekdays, counts and fee totals are ours and labeled.

At this build: 50 cook-offs published, 26 of them from ICS details pages, and 0 listed events left out (dates passed or no longer on a list). Pages were researched and built with AI assistance.
