ICS cook-off listings charge entry per category, collected by the organizer, so a cook entering Traditional Red and Chili Verde pays both printed fees. CASI list entries print one entry fee for the sanctioned chili, with any side contests described in the listing's text.
On membership, the ICS rule book says adult cooks must be active ICS members, and the CASI rule book says one does not have to be a member of CASI to participate and prints its annual dues. The calculator adds up the printed entry fees and nothing else.
