Our take written by Chili Times

Comanche Crossing hosts this CASI cook-off on FM 477 in Seguin, and the listing calls it long anticipated. Cooks can use a large covered patio, and the charity is the Thriving Hearts Crisis Center.

Entry is $27.00, chili turns in at 2pm, and the meat requirement is Chili Grind. It is not an AQ event, and the listing invites cooks to pick up early season points.

Our plain-language reading of the sanctioning body's listing quoted on this page. It adds no facts of its own.
